Balcony Gardens

Many of our footprinters live in flats but that doesn't stop them growing sumptuous produce on their balconies.

This way they use the fertiliser from their worm farms, reduce their footprint when shopping, enjoy their own environment AND save money!

About Footprints

Did you know that if everyone on Earth lived like an average Australian, we'd need at least seven planets to sustain ourselves? Every year we each consume resources to support our food, clothing, travel and lifestyle needs.

Our Footprinters live in Willoughby, North Sydney or Lane Cove Council areas and have taken up the challenge to reduce their impact.

Footprinters to get Energy Smart!

Footprinters will be taking part in an Energy Smart Home In-Home Audit offer. This involves an Energy Smart Assessor visiting their house to assess energy usage and provide them with an Energy Action Plan to help them reduce their energy consumption.

Follow the progress of participating Footprinters here, and have a look at www.energysmarthome.com.au where you can evaluate your own Star Rating and conduct a Virtual Home Audit on-line.
