North Sydney Council's North Sydney Recreation Needs Study was prepared in partnership with consultants GHD Pty Ltd. The study sets the direction for the future provision of sports and recreation facilities in the North Sydney LGA and includes targeted actions for specific facilities and projects.

The Strategy examines sport and recreation, open space supply, the community's existing and emerging needs and leisure participation trends.
