Pool Classes - Aqua, Aqua-Lite, Deep-Aqua Aerobics

Aqua aerobics is an excellent form of non weight bearing exercise, suitable for all levels of fitness and ages. Varying emphasis on cardiovascular, muscle toning, flexibility, mobility and conditioning, using the water's resistance, provides an all round physical workout. All classes are of 45 minute duration.

1. Aqua Aerobics
Caters for all levels, combines the use of varied water levels, equipment, circuits and fun combinations. Excellent cardiovascular and muscle toning using water resistance.
2. Aqua lite Aerobics
Low intensity, fun oriented class designed for the beginner. A great way to begin and enhance your exercise regime.
3. Deep Aqua Aerobics
A fun and enjoyable exercise class where there is no impact on the joints just the resistance of the water. Caters for all levels, using bouyancy belts. The class is held in the 50m outside pool, is dependant on pool availability and weather conditions. Seasonal class.
General Information
- All members and casual participants must check in at reception and obtain a class entry card for all classes. Entry to classes is on a first come first served basis. The entry card must be presented to the instructor before the start of the class. This process allows us to monitor class numbers and programming as numbers for each class have a maximum limit.
- No class tickets will be sold after the class start time. No entry to a class is permitted 5 minutes after it starts. This is recommended by the Fitness Industry Association for your own safety. If you are less than five minutes late, you are advised to warm up for 5 minutes before entering the class.
- It is advised that during any form of exercise (including water-based exercise), you maintain your body fluids. We therefore recommend that you bring along a water bottle.
- The class timetable is subject to change at any time at our discretion. All such changes will be posted on the notice board in the reception foyer.
- We welcome your comments and suggestions. Customer feedback forms are available from reception and can be placed in the box provided.
- If you have any medical inquires that may affect your participation in the class, please ask your instructor for advice prior to the start of the class. Instructors will assist you where they can.
