Register Your Animals

If you are to register or license your dog or cat (or other animal), then please refer to the NSW Companion Animal Register website for the animals registered under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. Under this Act, cats and dogs are required to be microchipped and lifetime-registered.

Please note you will need to come in person to North Sydney Council if you wish to fill in the NSW Companion Animal Register form.
