Lost & Impounded Dogs

If your dog is impounded, you must pay a release fee, a daily maintenance cost and any outstanding fines before your dog is released to you.

Unregistered dogs are kept for seven (7) days and registered dogs for 14 days. If an owner does not claim the dog within the relevant time limit the dog may be sold or destroyed.
