Internet & Computer Access

There are dedicated Internet terminals in the adult, youth and childrens' areas of the library. The Internet is also available on library Webcats, but use of the catalogue has priority on these machines.

It is a good idea to ring and make a booking in advance - especially near exam times. To make a booking phone the library on 9936 8400 and select Information Desk for bookings, or ask at the Information Desk if you are in the library.

Word Processing and Email facilities

The library has word processing and email facilities for public use. Fees apply for this service. See: LibraryFees and Charges above.

Open book

The Open Book PC is available for people with a sight impairment. It enables people to scan and then listen to the written word. This PC also has a typing tutorial available to the general public.

Photocopiers

Black and white and colour photocopiers, are available. Photocopiers are operated using a Stanton Library card, or a copier card available from the Information Desk.

DVD, Video and CD players

DVD players are located on the Ground Floor and in the Youth area on the Lower Ground Floor. Only videos up to M rating may be watched in the library. CD players are also available for use in the Library.
