Primrose Park Art and Craft ComplexPrimrose Park Art & Craft Centre

Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre was established by North Sydney Council to work with local residents and artists. It is a non-profit, incorporated organisation and is generally self-funded although it also receives occasional grants from the Australia Council, the NSW Ministry of the Arts, and Council.

The Centre provides paper-based art and craft classes, special events and open access weekends for members to use the facilities. Annual membership is available and new members are always welcome.

North Sydney Council Artists' Low Cost Studio Program

North Sydney Council is seeking artists to take up six-month leases in a shared studio space at Primrose Park.

At right are current studio artists Jennifer Brown and Jessica Melkman.

The first lease runs from 9 January until 24 June 2012.
The second lease runs from 2 July until 16 December 2012.

Applications need to be submitted by 26 August 2011. The artists will be required to collaboratively exhibit the results from their six-month lease at the Primrose Park Gallery.

Primrose Park Shared Studio Space

North Sydney Council has placed two resident artists in a six-month lease in the shared studio space at Primrose Park. At the end of the residency the artists (Jennifer Brown and Jessica Melkman) will collaboratively exhibit their work at the Primrose Park Gallery:
