GoGet launched in the North Sydney area on the 16 June 2005, and their cars are now available at several pods:

- Kirribilli, Bligh St (Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre)
- Kirribilli, cnr Kirribilli Ave and Broughton St
- McMahons Point, 165 Blues Point Rd (McMahons Point Community Centre)
- McMahons Point, cnr Miller St and Mackenzie St
- Neutral Bay, cnr Ben Boyd Rd and Yeo St
- St Leonards, Atchison St

Car sharing provides residents with 24/7 access to a number of vehicles parked nearby. Once residents have joined the service, they can book vehicles for as little as an hour via their phone or the internet. Members enjoy all the benefits of a car without the hassle and expense of owning one and they only pay for a car when they use it.
The service provides a viable option for individuals who don't need a car full time, but need to supplement public transport usage, walking or cycling with occasional private car use. There is the potential to reduce car ownership, road congestion and pollution and deliver environmental benefits.
