These websites gather information from a variety of sources, including the most recent Census data (2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991). They cover the North Sydney CBD and its surrounding suburbs which are part of the Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC).
The websites contain information regarding age structure, birth place, language spoken at home, highest level of education attained, employment status, household and family types, building approvals, dwelling types and estimated resident population, among other available information.
These sites are designed to inform the community, Council, investors, businesses, students and the general public; to help the public and private sector to make better informed decisions in regards to resource allocation; and to better inform residents about the area in which they live.
