Coal LoaderThe Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability

The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability (the Coal Loader) is an exciting new community resource in Waverton.

Transformed from an ex-industrial site, the Coal Loader is now a place where you can be inspired by best practice sustainable technology, community gardens, native bush nursery, regenerated parklands and much more.

The Coal Loader showcases innovation and best practice, enables hands-on learning about sustainability in every-day life and serves as a community meeting point and hub for Council's extensive range of environmental and sustainability programs.

Officially opened by North Sydney Council on 10 July 2011, everyone is welcome to drop in, take a walk around, join a workshop or simply enjoy the stunning harbour views! See what's on and how you can get involved.
