Park & Swim Discount
Parking in Alfred St South, Milsons Point, is now free until 10am.
After 10am, people using the Olympic Pool or Lane 9 Gymnasium can have up to two hours free parking, however, you will need to pay for parking and claim a parking discount at the pool reception.
Park & Swim - Registration Form (83KB)
There are two ways to receive the Park and Swim discount:
1. Casual users paying full adult price
If you pay as you go for pool and gym entry, all you need to do is to take your parking ticket stub (small part of ticket) to the pool reception.
You will receive an immediate discount, to a maximum of $11, from the cost of your entry to the pool or gym.
Please note, only one person can claim the parking discount for each parking ticket (see Terms and Conditions below). Because pool staff cannot repay cash over the counter, your total discount cannot exceed the cost of your entry.
2. Members, Passholders and Concession entries
If you currently hold a 6 or 12 month membership, a monthly direct debit membership, a pool subscription, purchase a bulk visit pass or receive a concession for entry, you will need to register with the pool to get your Park & Swim discount.
Each time you visit the pool or gym, you will need to pay for parking by credit card and then hand your parking ticket stub with your vehicle registration number to the pool reception. The maximum discount you can claim will be $11 for any one day.
When registering, the pool will require your contact details, as well as details of the nominated credit card account which you will use to pay for parking and into which your parking discount can be paid each month.
3. Park and Swim meters
To get your discount, you must park at one of the four Park & Swim meters located in the angle parking section facing Bradfield Park on the east side of Alfred Street South (see map).
Please note: the discount is not available for other meters in Milsons Point.
Park & Swim meters are 'pay and display', also known as 'ticket machines'. The cost of parking is $5.50 per hour. The maximum parking period is two hours. When you have paid for the time you require, please collect the ticket from the meter.
Separate the ticket and place the large part on the dashboard of your car. Take the small part of the ticket to pool reception to receive your discount.
Please note: parking stubs must be presented at reception within 15 minutes of the time marked on your ticket.
