Graythwaite

On Saturday, 22 August 2009 hundreds of people rallied to save the Graythwaite historic estate.

Following on, Graythwaite supporters are campaigning in the seats of two inner west Labor Ministers.

Volunteers are urgently needed to hand out pamphlets, mainly at markets, in September in the seats of Marrickville and Balmain both of which have large populations of Green voters and others who really do care about our environment and heritage.

If you have an hour free and can get to Lilyfield on Saturday or Marrickville on Sunday to help please email Suzanne at sclarken@ihug.com.au or call 0407 232 409.

Graythwaite is an important link with Gallipoli and the sacrifice of the ANZACs. With its six acres of gardens, it is the largest remaining area of open space next to the North Sydney CBD.
