Updated Information

Alfred St and Fitzroy St

Raised Pedestrian Crossings

Further to Council’s previous notification letter, Council has been subsequently advised by the Traffic Management Centre (TMC) work on Fitzroy St is to be restricted between 10am to 2:30pm. These restrictions will adversely impact the local community by extending the construction duration from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Due to these restrictions imposed on Council, some works will now be undertaken at night to help minimise the overall environmental impact. Most of the works will still be undertaken during the day.

The tables below outline the construction timetable for both crossings and the impact of the TCM restrictions.
