Bannerman St Intersection Works


Council’s Contractor, Planet Civil will shortly be commencing improvement works in Bannerman Street, Cremorne (Harriette Street to Murdoch Street).

These works will include a new pedestrian crossing and other pedestrian improvements, a new marked cycle lane and new traffic calming works. The roundabout at the intersection of Bannerman Street and Murdoch Street is also being reconstructed. Landscaping works and public domain improvements are also included as part of these works.

The expected commencement date is Monday 30 April 2018, weather and other factors permitting.

Work should be completed within ten weeks.

Council requests that all vehicles be moved from the area indicated by barricading and the special Works Zone signage at the proposed work site by 7.00am on Monday 30 April 2018 and that no vehicles are parked in this area whilst work is in progress without the contractor’s permission.

Council’s contractors will work with you to maintain access to your property or make alternative arrangements when necessary. On street parking will be affected within the work zone areas on Bannerman Street. Driveway access may be affected but further notification will be provided prior to any works commencing. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. There will be times when access may be restricted, for example during concrete pours.
