Hamilton Lane

DEAR RESIDENTS,

PLEASE BE NOTIFIED THAT NORTH SYDNEY COUNCIL HAS ENGAGED THE SERVICES OF URBAN ASSET SOLUTIONS FOR THE UPGRADES AND REPAIR OF A GROSS POLLUTANT TRAP (GPT) IN THE FRED HUTLEY RESERVE.

The proposed device is designed to capture gross pollutants that would otherwise find their way to Long Bay and Middle Harbour.

The work involves the replacement/ upgrade of the trash screens within the existing concrete structure as well as new upgrades to the concrete structure to allow for more efficient cleaning.

Upon completion, the surrounding areas will be reinstated as they were previously.

The work is due to commence on Monday 16 July 2019 and be completed by Friday 9 August 2019 (weather permitting).

We anticipate there will be minimal disruptions to residents, we will make every effort to maintain access along existing pedestrian thoroughfare during these works.

The work will be carried out with consideration of the local residents and the visiting public.
