Council's Contractor, Boral Asphalt Pty Ltd will carry out the road reconstruction of Watson Street from Yeo Street to Military Road on Monday night 30 November and Tuesday night 1 December 2020, weather and other factors permitting (map below).

The Contractor will endeavour to carry out the work in a manner that will cause minimum inconvenience, however where vehicular access is affected considerable delays in leaving and entering your residence or place of work may occur.
Parking will not be permitted in the designated area shown on the plan between 7.00pm and 6.00am to allow the work to proceed without obstruction. Failure to comply with this request will lead to delays in completion of the work.
It is an offence under the Roads Act to move signs, barriers or traffic cones placed on a road for the purpose of road works. A maximum penalty of $1,110.00 applies for this offence.

MAY BE TOWED A WAY TO ALLOW WORK TO PROCEED.
Traffic restrictions under RMS regulations may make it necessary to transport the machinery required for this work to and from site during the early hours of the morning.
The work to be undertaken is noisy, however every effort will be made to minimise the impact on residents, including scheduling of the noisiest work as early in the night as possible.
