Losing muscle mass and bone density as we age can result in significant health issues, including osteoporosis, diabetes, sarcopaenia and others. furthermore, it is generally accepted as a natural phenomenon. But should it be? Through an interactive workshop, the effects of muscle and bone mass are explored, as well as what can be done to address it. Coordinated by accredited exercise physiologists, the workshop produces evidence for the best types and intensities of exercise throughout our lifespan. The presentation includes a demonstrative component and the opportunity for audience participation.
