North Sydney Family Day Care is home-based childcare - it's been operating since 1974!
The service is sponsored by North Sydney Council.
Family Day Care (FDC) comprises the network of Educators supported by a Coordination Unit of Early Childhood professionals. FDC Educators work in their own homes with groups of up to four children under the age of five years, as well as up to three school-aged children.
The scheme is approved and adheres to the Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), and National Regulations (2011). It will also be assessed and rated under the new National Quality Framework.
