North Sydney Youth Volunteers
North Sydney Council is committed to providing opportunities for young people to become active in their community.
If you are 16 and above and looking for a way to participate, there are several volunteer programs we operate.
Depending on the program, volunteering can be a one-off, short-term or long-term.
We have new volunteering initiatives starting often.
If you're interested in the environment, you can learn about bush regeneration with our Bushcare program or help plant trees on National Tree Day. You could also help out with our HarbourCare team who look after and clean up our beautiful harbourside. Alternatively, if you're passionate about music and events, you can volunteer with our annual Youth Week music event Shoreshocked, the Children's Festival or a number of other cultural events that North Sydney Council holds.
Some volunteering activities may be appropriate towards Duke of Edinburgh Service hours or community service hours for school programs.
