Highlights and Current Projects:
The suburb and Precinct area was named after the pioneer merchant and pastoralist, Edward Wollstonecraft (1783-1832), who took possession of a 524-acre grant here shortly after his arrival in Sydney in 1819. Wollstonecraft is buried in St Thomas’ Rest Park.
Nicholson Precinct, located along Nicholson Street, amalgamated with Wollstonecraft Precinct in 1995.
