Sculpture at Sawmillers Major Prize of $30,000 (non-acquisitive), a People’s Choice Prize of $3,000, and an Emerging Sculptor Prize of $2,500 will be awarded.
A poetry event compèred by acclaimed Sydney performance poet Tug Dumbly will be held as part of Sculpture at Sawmillers on Saturday 26 February 2022. You are invited to submit an original, unpublished poem on the topic of stone, wood, sculpture or Sydney Harbour. The top six poems will be read live, and the winner announced.
Prize money totalling $1,000 will be awarded on the day. Entries close on 1 February 2022 and the six top poets will be notified on 15 February 2022. Please submit your entry electronically as a Word document to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Sculpture at Sawmillers exhibition is a McMahons Point community initiative supported by North Sydney Council.
The exhibition is coordinated by Elsa Atkin AM Cultural Management Consultant and the initiator of the Sculpture at Sawmillers exhibition.
