Native bees assist with pollination, promote ecosystem diversity and balance and are a very rewarding addition to your garden.

Join Elke Haege online to discover:

  • All the basics for someone considering purchasing and setting up a native beehive.
  • Plant and bee relationships – useful plants for bees and how bees need flower resources.
  • Some of the native solitary bees in North Sydney, their habitat (shelter) and food needs.
  • Tips on how to promote these pollinators in your garden/balcony.

Elke breeds and supplies native stingless bees in Sydney as one of the ways she is able to contribute to Australia’s natural food and bio-security.
