Get excited!!! It's the first 'Salon de Refuse', North of the bridge!
'Salon de Refuse', the environmental sharing art-event, created by Street Bounty, presented by The Coal Loader, and curated by YOU!
A wordplay on the iconic Salon des Refusés, this free art exhibition/shop aims to promote the recycling and rehoming of artistic assets, keeping curbs cleaner, landfill emptier and wallets fuller. Salon de Refuse will be taking up residence for two weeks in The Old Workshop at The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability during August 2021.
A community-minded and environmentally motivated art sharing event.
Open from 7am to 7pm daily.
How to take part: "Salon de Refuse" is easy...
-You can hang something up - Paintings, Photos, a Picasso, Posters, the Portrait of Dorian Gray - whatever... there is even room for some small 3-D works too.
-You can take something you like and give it a happy new home!
-You can just go and take a look.
But... you don't need to bring anything to take something...
So grab ALL the kerbside art treasures you can find and we will see you there!
