The New Term is... Coming!
Weekly. Free. Multidisciplinary. All abilities. Sign up to The Coal Loader e-newsletter HERE to be the first to know when classes re-open.
What to expect?
The stunning waterfront Coal Loader Platform will host a variety of different classes including Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, Laughing Yoga, and Strength Training (pending feedback survey results), which are FREE for all local residents, suitable for all levels of experience, and open to all abilities.
You can book for one class or many - up to you!
If you book a place please ensure that you will be able to attend, and if something comes up, please cancel your booking so that others may take your place in this popular series.
Classes run from 7am sharp to 7.45am, and with the overwhelming success from last year bookings are essential to secure your place. Be sure to arrive 5 mins early to ensure you can meet your instructor and get set up ready for your class.
What to bring?
All you need to bring is your mat, a reusable drink bottle, your keep cup (if you plan on grabbing coffee afterwards), and an open mind as we get set to bring you a great new wellness experience each week.
What if it’s raining?
We endeavour to host these sessions rain, hail or shine, so in the event of poor weather the sessions will be moved to the Coal Loader Cottage (Genia McCaffery Centre), however indoor space is a little more restricted so places will be allocated to ticketholders on a first-come-first-served basis.
How to get there?
Easy: the Platform is located at 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton and is just a 6-minute, level-walk from Waverton Station. There are bike racks on site, or if you need to drive you can utilise the free, 4-hour parking on Balls Head Road.
I can no longer make it, what do I do?
Sometimes plans change, so if you become unable to attend for any reason, could you please ensure you make your space available for another eager wellness seeker, by opting out of the session on the Eventbrite page. Simply go to the Eventbrite link, Go to the Tickets page, and locate your order. Click your order to view order details, and then select "Cancel Order" to cancel your registration.
Can I book multiple sessions?
Absolutely. Simply follow the links below depending on which class you wish to attend and select the event date that suits you. You can book into multiple sessions of the same class, or select a range of different classes, the choice is yours.
This wellness series is provided by North Sydney Council.
