Wednesday Wellness is Returning!
Free. Weekly. Multidisciplinary. All abilities.
The new term runs from Wednesday, 29 September 2021 to April 2022.
Follow The Coal Loader on Facebook or sign up to the quarterly e-newsletter or follow our Instagram to be the first to know when classes re-open.
Booking and attendance will be slightly different this year.
Bookings will be available one week in advance via our Humanitix page.
Follow us on Facebook or Instagram or eNews for when classes can be booked.
Bookings are essential to secure your place.
You can book for one class in advance each week.
Please ensure that you will be able to attend, and if something comes up, please cancel your booking so that others may take your place in this popular series. Bookings are strictly limited and if you are a no-show for two bookings, you will not be able to re-book this season.
Unfortunately we are unable to take walk-ins this season due to the current safety regulations.
Classes run from 7am sharp to 7.45am. Arrive 5 mins early to ensure you can meet your instructor and get set up ready for your class. Late arrivals may not be able to participate.
This is a COVID-Safe event.
The organiser will check you in online so please make sure your name and contact details are correct on your digital ticket.
The stunning waterfront Coal Loader Platform will host a variety of different classes including Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, and Strength Training, which are FREE for all local residents, suitable for all levels of experience, and open to all abilities.
What to bring?
All you need to bring is your mat, a reusable drink bottle, your keep cup (if you plan on grabbing coffee afterwards), and an open mind as we get set to bring you a great new wellness experience each week.
What if it’s raining?
We endeavour to host these sessions rain, hail or shine, so in the event of poor weather the sessions will be moved to the Coal Loader Cottage (Genia McCaffery Centre), however indoor space is a little more restricted so places will be allocated to ticketholders on a first-come-first-served basis.
How to get there?
Easy: the Platform is located at 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton and is just a 6-minute, level-walk from Waverton Station. There are bike racks on site, or if you need to drive you can utilise the free, 4-hour parking on Balls Head Road.
I can no longer make it, what do I do?
Sometimes plans change, so if you become unable to attend for any reason, could you please ensure you make your space available for another eager wellness seeker, by opting out of the session on the Humanitix page. Simply go to the link in your confirmation email (or log in here), locate your order and select "Cancel Order".
If you were a participant in the last term (September to April) or are looking to participate in the new term we would love your feedback in our survey: www.surveymonkey.com/r/WednesdayWellness
