Event Details

Self-publishing is sometimes a good alternative to traditional publishing, but many aspiring self-publishers don't know what they're in for. In this workshop, we'll look at the whys and why nots of self-publishing, the self-publishing process (as opposed to the traditional publishing process), and the nitty gritty of production, marketing and distribution in print and digital.

Karen Beilharz is a Sydney-based writer, editor and comics creator, best known for her work on Kinds of Blue (an anthology about depression), Eternal Life (a science fiction graphic novel) and Monsters (an anthology for kids about fear that was shortlisted for a Ledger award in 2017). She is a Twitter addict and an avid knitter. Learn more: http://hivemindedness.com/
