14 April to 30 April 2018 (includes ANZAC Day 25 April)

NOTE: The Easter long weekend falls outside of the school holidays this year and is 30 March to 2 April

We have great (and almost always free) holiday activities for kids each holidays!

Stanton Library Activities

Stanton Library are running a free series of activities during April (booking link given where required).

Blackout Poetry

Tuesday 17 April, 1pm

A poetry workshop for teens where you make poems by removing the words from the page instead of writing them down.

What park? Watt Park!
(A Heritage Festival event in conjunction with NSC Local Studies)

Thursday 19 April, 11am

Celebrating the history of the local area with stories, songs, artefacts and a treasure hunt.

Please note: this activity is not in Stanton Library, but at Watt Park in Lavender Bay.

Best suited to ages 5+. Bookings essential:

Pom Pom Cacti

Thursday 26 April, 1pm

Create cute little cacti in pots from wool pom poms. As cute as the real thing but much fluffier.
