Venue: TBC upon booking confirmation
Council’s Historical Services department collects and cares for an enormous variety of heritage items – from artworks to archaeology, clothing to cooking equipment. Only a small proportion of this fascinating collection is on display at any one time; the majority is stored in our dedicated archive facility.
To celebrate Seniors Week, you are invited to join Historical Services staff for a free tour behind the scenes of some of these stored artefacts.
*Please note: this tour involves minimum two flights of approximately 10 stairs. There is no lift access for this site.
Bookings are essential and numbers will be limited to comply with current Public Health Orders.
