Venue: Stanton Library, Conference Room
Join the knitting Group at Stanton Library as they take a break from knitting blankets to create birds for the Lost Bird Found Art Project!
As part of Mental Health Month, North Sydney Council is running a Community Mental Health Art Project called Lost Bird Found.
Now in its fifth year, the project encourages the community to host and/or participate in the making of birds to spread awareness about Mental Health.
Big, small, fluffy, glazed – anything goes!
The birds will pop up all around Sydney during the month of October - and it’s finder’s keepers!
These unique birds have a card attached with links to mental health support services and community activities as well as details of the project here on the website and on their Facebook page as well.
Each bird sends a message of hope and support.
