North Sydney Council is excited to be bringing back the pets day out you all know and love. Bark in the Park is a paw-fect day out for dogs, their owners and all animal lovers!
The grass carpet will be rolled out at St Leonards Park, just up the road from the North Sydney CBD, from 9.30am to 2.30pm on Sunday 5 June.
This bone-anza day of furry fun will be packed with dog demonstrations and expert talks, Doga (dog yoga), a Mutt & Meow Market, food stalls, kids activities, live music and plenty of other activities for fur residents and their human companions to enjoy.
See Dr. Kate Adams the Bondi Vet in the Dogs on Show Arena or head to the Paw-dium where your canine friends can try out their skills in an obstacle course and race the clock in time trials.
There will be prizes to be won on the day for the best dressed, best trick, and the owner and pet duo that look most alike! There will also be a raffle and fundraising on the day to support Bark in the Park’s charity partner Sydney Dogs & Cats Home.
Event Sponsor Pet Medical Milsons Point will be giving away free Magnetic Shots photo magnets of happy snaps taken on the day.
Full program to be released soon! Make sure you are following our Facebook Event for event updates.
Bark in the Park Ambassadogs
Council has selected three Ambassadogs from the local community to be the face of Bark in the Park 2022.
Dewey the 8-year-old rescue dog originally from Manila is a St Leonards Park regular, gracing the park in his winter coats and sporting a big smile.
Hudson is a retired racing Greyhound who now has a new career working as a registered therapy dog. The 4-year-old is sure to request pats from everyone he meets.
Neville the miniature dachshund is the puppy of the group not only in size but is only coming up to his first birthday. He is the quintessential man around town in Wollstonecraft and is a friend to anyone.
This event will follow any NSW Government COVID-19 Public Health Orders applicable at the time.
