Australia Day - BBQ by the Bridge
Friday 26 January 2018, 10am - 4pm, Bradfield Park, Milsons Point
BBQ by the Bridge will complement the Australia Day Council’s harbour program. This event celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity, building on the tradition of an Aussie backyard BBQ, to create a multicultural park food event featuring barbequed foods from a variety of international cuisines. Bradfield Park is the perfect viewing space for the harbour events. The event will include live music and children's activities. Crowds of up to 15,000 attended the 2017 event to celebrate.
New Year's Eve

New Year’s Eve is the busiest night of the year in North Sydney with tens of thousands of people visiting our foreshore to view the fireworks.
A limited number of food stallholder positions will be available for this event at 3 North Sydney locations: Bradfield Park, Blues Point Reserve and Cremorne Point. Council reserves the right to determine the location of stalls. Please note due to crowds and road closures bump-in is 7am - 8am on 31 December and bump-out may not commence until 3am on 1 January. Trading hours are 8am - 1am.
Twilight Food Fair
Twilight Food Fair (once known as the Noodle Market) has been operating since 1990.
The event is held in Civic Park, at 200 Miller St, North Sydney.
Featuring a range of international cuisines and entertainment each week, it's a firm favourite for both families and individuals looking to make the most of their balmy-summer evenings. With good food, relaxed dining and great entertainment at its heart, Twilight Food Fair attracts lots of people to Civic Park every Friday night.
The 2017/18 season will operate every Friday from 27 October 2017 to 2 March 2018. This will be a 16 date run excluding 22 December, 29 December and 26 January.
Approved stallholders are expected to attend every week of the season.
In order to keep the season fresh and dynamic stallholders must apply with a regular weekly menu and a "dish of the month". Each month one of the menu items should be new. This is in addition to or in exchange for an item on the regular weekly menu. The regular weekly menu can be served for the full length of the season. In February 2018 you may be asked to bring back your most popular "dish of the month".
Every year the Twilight Food Fair receives a large amount of interest from stallholders and Council is seeking to increase the quality of food and entertainment provided to the community. New stallholders and stallholders involved in previous seasons are encouraged to apply however no guarantee is offered that a place is held for this or future years. Each year applications will be assessed on a clean slate.
