Well-being for Stressed Parents of Teens
How is your stress level connected to your relationship with your teen?
Unfortunately we don't always recognise our habitual stress-generated response patterns, or know how to change them, but we can learn.
An ongoing monthly forum where parents can get research based strategies and group support for raising challenging teenagers.
It focuses on your current concerns - not a one size fits all parents approach.
These evenings aim to provide a comfortable learning environment to explore attitudes, and coping strategies based on your needs and on research.
How do we as parents keep lines of communication open?
How do we respond so as to model the kind of behaviour we'd like?
Come learn with us.
Did you know that you are vital to your son or daughter’s success?
Phoenix House offers a free monthly support forum for parents of teens. These evenings are open to all parents and carers – especially those whose teens are at risk or struggling. We discuss, question, explore attitudes, look at research and share strategies.
When we support each other we’re stronger!
You do not need to have your teen enrolled in our programs to access this support.
We meet on a Wednesday evening, and we’d love if you could join us! Please note that bookings are essential.
