A self-guided two day event showcasing the many ways that Sydney residents are creating food security in the urban environment, saving money and the environment, while enjoying the health benefits of home grown fruit and veg.
Backyard growers, large and small, throughout Metropolitan Sydney will open their gardens to the public on the March weekend, sharing their passion and knowledge to inspire others to grow their own food.
There'll be free workshops, garden tours, and seed saving demos in some of the gardens.
Proceeds from ticket sales to this community not-for-profit event go towards local school and community gardens as nominated by The Sydney Edible Food Trail team.
The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability
Once again the Coal Loader Cottage Gardens are part of the Sydney Edible Garden Trail.

NO ticket required to visit any of The Coal Loader gardens however other private gardens on the trail are ticketed.
