Council's Contractor, Boral Asphalt Pty Ltd will carry out the reconstruction of Burlington Street, from Alexander Street to Sophia Street between Wednesday 5 July 2017 and Friday 29 July 2017, weather and other factors permitting.
If there are any changes to the above dates, the Contractor will notify here.
The Contractor will endeavour to carry out the work in a manner that will cause minimum inconvenience, however where vehicular access is affected considerable delays in leaving and entering your residence or place of work may occur.
Parking will not be permitted in the above designated area between 6.30am and 6.30pm to allow the work to proceed without obstruction. Failure to comply with this request will lead to delays in completion of the work.
It is an offence under the Roads Act to move signs, barriers or traffic cones placed on a road for the purpose of road works. A maximum penalty of $1,110.00 applies for this offence.

MAY BE TOWED AWAY TO ALLOW WORK TO PROCEED.
Traffic restrictions under RMS regulations may make it necessary to transport the machinary required for this work to and from site during the early hours of the morning.
