The Coal Loader Artisans Market is held four times a year and features around 100 makers.
It is held on the last Sunday in February, May, August, and November.
This unique market offers people an opportunity to purchase original and creative handmade products directly from emerging and contemporary designers, artists and makers, while enjoying the atmosphere of the beautiful and historic site.
Stalls display and sell art, ceramics, sculpture, basketry, eco products, fashion, jewelry, accessories, wool creations, textiles, food, children's design and much more.
Held rain or shine, the venue offers a beautiful all-weather marketplace to showcase local creative talent, and it's a pretty fabulous day each time!
The November markets will for the first time be in the evening, and focused on making Christmas sustainable and easy.
The Spring Coal Loader Artisans Market is your one-stop-shop for an ethical, sustainable, and relaxed festive season. From perfect gift-buying, delicious low-waste cooking, kids making classes (for things your relatives will actually want), even practical advice on how to reduce stress while cutting down on waste... this market has got you covered!
This will be the first time the event will take place entirely on The Platform at the Coal Loader, and in the evening as well. Get all of your festive prep done in one place, and then celebrate with a cold drink and a beautiful sunset!
