North Sydney Oval is one of the most versatile event spaces on the lower north shore. It’s both a popular first class sporting venue and a flexible events space featuring an outdoor arena, grandstands and a two-storey multi-purpose function centre.

Easily accessible by public transport, the Oval regularly hosts sports tournaments, festivals, open air cinema, corporate meetings, media events and weddings.

Nestled in the heart of beautiful St Leonards Park, the Oval is also one of Sydney’s most picturesque landmarks, with a unique character that adds charm to any event.

Whatever you have in mind, the Oval will provide a versatile space to deliver your event, your way.

The venue is a 10 minute walk from the North Sydney CBD, with street parking or Ridge Street carpark available.

Located in the Mollie Dive Stand, it has two floors:

  1. The ground floor (level one) of the Centre is a larger area, perfect for business conferences and workshops or larger functions. With full-length windows overlooking the Oval, the ground floor's natural lighting makes it a relaxing yet stimulating venue for business functions. The ground floor has a fully stocked bar.
  2. The top floor (level two) has a fully maintained bar, a balcony opening out onto the Oval itself and a comfortable but sophisticated ambience, ideal for smaller functions or cocktail parties.

The Function Centre can accommodate up to 120 people seated in a banquet style or 250 people for a cocktail style event on both the lower and upper levels.
