Parks & Reserves Information

NOTICE - Annual Herbicide application

There will be herbicide treatment being applied on all Sportsgrounds and Iconic Parks (St Leonards Park, Bradfield Park and Civic Centre Park) beginning from the 12 June to 22 June 2018 (weather pending).

All spraying will be done at night with the target being - Broadleaf and Annual weeds.

Spraying signs will be placed within all sites 24 hours prior to spraying.


Sports fields: All sports grounds

Parks or Playgrounds: Tunks park (foreshore area), Anzac Park, Berry Island Reserve, Blues Point reserve & Henry Lawson Reserve, Brennan Park, Brightmore Reserve, Brothers Memorial Reserve, Clark Park, Cremorne Point, Dr Mary Booth Lookout, Grasmere children's park, Grasmere Reserve, Green Park, Ilbery Park, Kelly's place, Kurraba Reserve, Milsons Point Park, Prior Avenue Reserve, Quibaree Park & Art Barton, Sawmillers Reserve, St Leonards Park, St Thomas Rest Park, Warringa Park, Watt Park, Waverton Park (Kirribilli bowling club, includes Merrett Playground), Weaver Park, Woolcott Street Open Space, Wolstonecaft Station Reserve, Kesterton Park (High St Wharf), Grafton St Reserve.


North Sydney has some of the most beautiful parks and gardens in Sydney, the best known of which are located on the series of 'points' that jut into the harbour from the North Sydney side.

Bushland in North Sydney is precious. There are several areas of bushland to enjoy. Many of these are on the harbour foreshore, combining places of natural beauty with spectacular views.
