Scotland Island Bushcare

Bus & ferry to Scotland Island to undertake Bushcare in a Spotted Gum forest.
In recent years, North Sydney Council Bushcare has been visiting beautiful Scotland Island in the Pittwater to work alongside Northern Beaches Council Bushcare volunteers to control Asparagus Fern and protect an endangered Spotted Gum Forest (Corymbia maculata).
Personal Protection Clothing is a must, this includes enclosed shoes (e.g boots), a long sleeved shirt, long pants and a hat, as ticks are known to occur at this location, insect repellent may be useful.
Morning tea, supervision and tools provided.
Note: It is important to meet the bus for a prompt 8am departure, so that we arrive in time to catch the ferry.
