A one-day, hands-on sewing and upcycling workshop for 9–18 year-olds!
Join us for a one-day, hands-on sewing and upcycling workshop for 9–18 year-olds, delivered as part of Youth Week 2026, and guided by eco- and ethically minded young fashion creatives.
Participants choose a thrifted garment or bring one from home, then rework it however they like — cropping, reshaping, hand sewing, embellishing, or transforming it into something entirely new.
There are no patterns and no rules — just creative freedom, supported by trained youth mentors who encourage experimentation rather than “perfect” outcomes.
No sewing experience is needed. Sewing machines will be available for participants to learn on, alongside hand-stitching and surface design techniques.
Slogue is a circular fashion education initiative using creativity, sewing and upcycling to empower young people and communities to create, not consume.
Tickets are FREE but capacity is limited to 20 participants.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via the Manage my order link in your confirmation email so someone on the waitlist can attend.
