Join the community of weavers making their own unique products! Loom Heaven studio has many different looms but which type best suits your needs?
Try weaving on an inkle loom, table looms, floor looms and compu-dobby looms, all threaded ready for you.
Spinners can try a variety of double treadle wheels from Lojan, Louet and Schacht. Spinners at the Loom Heaven Studio take their wheels into the community with "spin in public" days, and extreme spinning where spinners meet and spin in different locations monthly.
The Studio includes an exhibition of woven scarves, rugs and wraps which demonstrate the magic of silk, camel, wool, mohair, cotton and various fibre combinations. One can touch, feel and purchase items.
Liz is an experienced weaver and will welcome you for a Loom Talk which will discuss the advantages of different looms and answer visitor questions. Liz will also offer a Spinning Talk where she will encourage spinners keen to create their own fibre combination as yarn.
