Kids, join the Northside Produce Market ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour led by passionate food advocate, educator and MasterChef winner Elena Duggan, curated especially for curious, food lovers aged 6-14.
This immersive journey lets children experience the vibrant world of this farmers and artisan food producers market, in an interactive and engaging way. Kids will get up close with passionate, local food producers, exploring the journey of food from the farm to the market stall. They'll learn how fruits, vegetables and artisanal products are grown, raised or crafted with care.
Elena’s expert insights make the tour educational, highlighting the value of seasonal produce, sustainability and community. With hands-on opportunities to touch, taste and ask questions, young participants will leave with new knowledge and inspired to lean more of how their food comes to them.
There are two sessions scheduled:
- 8am to 9am
- 9.30am to 10.30am
Please note:
- Parents or guardians are required to supervise their kids whilst on tour, but the tour participation is for the kids only.
- Preference is given to those who have not been on a tour before.
