North Sydney Celebrates Pride 2026

Pride Month June 2026

North Sydney Council celebrates Pride Month in June 2026 with a lively, inclusive program of events and creative projects that promote visibility, belonging and connection.

Council will host a mix of community events, library programs and creative experiences, meaning there are many ways to take part whether through celebration, storytelling, creativity or quiet connection.

The Pride Picnic is one of several key events during the month, inviting the community to enjoy a free, family friendly afternoon of performances, activities and shared celebration in Ted Mack Civic Park.

Stanton Library will host an ‘Ask Me Anything’ YA Authors Pride Panel chaired by the magnificent, Carmen Geddit, while artists Anna Hay and Sophie Willison have been commissioned to create an artwork celebrating the diversity and lived experiences of members of North Sydney's queer community.

And that’s just the beginning!

Whether you’re part of the LGBQTIA+ community or an ally, North Sydney Council’s Pride program has something for everyone.
