Olympic Drive, Broughton Street (southbound lane, south of Fitzroy Street and south of Kirribilli Avenue), Alfred Street South at Dind and Carabella Street will be closed from 8pm to 10pm on 15 June.

As part of VIVID Sydney, the ‘Love is in the Air’ Drone show will be held on 15 June from 9.10pm to 9.20pm in Circular Quay. While Bradfield Park will not be advertised as a vantage point, this event is expected to draw large crowds.

Road Closures:

Due to the anticipated increase in traffic and pedestrian activity, several road closures will be in effect from 8pm to 10pm. Please be prepared for delays and follow detour signs and directions from NSW Police and traffic controllers. The road closures are as follows:

  • Olympic Drive

  • Broughton Street (southbound lane, south of Fitzroy Street)

  • Broughton Street (south of Kirribilli Avenue)

  • Alfred Street South at Dind Street

  • Carabella Street at Peel Street (resident access only)

Additional road closures may be implemented on the night for public safety as directed by NSW Police. We recommend avoiding driving to or around the foreshore during these times.

Recommendations:

  • Leave your car at home: To ease traffic congestion and make your visit more enjoyable, we strongly encourage leaving your car at home and using public transport to reach the event.

  • Arrive early: If you plan to visit the northern foreshore, plan ahead and take the opportunity to enjoy the local eateries.

  • Public facilities: Additional toilets and bins will be available within Bradfield Park for your convenience. Please use the bins provided or take your rubbish with you.

  • Respect and safety: Please be respectful of others and private property. Follow all safety guidelines and instructions from authorities.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable night for everyone.
