- A bandanna can help keep powder out of your nose and mouth
- Bring a towel or two (for drying off and protecting car seats)
- Baby wipes for quick clean-ups
- A spare change of clothes if you need to look presentable later
- Holi powder paint is non-toxic, biodegradable, and washes out (cornstarch + food colouring)
This is the fourth year North Sydney Council has held the free, family-friendly, all-ages event, which has drawn crowds of more than 700 in the past.
Colour Fest is an all-ages event and is alcohol and drug free. The event is a collaboration between North Sydney, Mosman, Willoughby and City of Ryde councils; NSW Health CYMHS (School-Link); headspace; the Community Drug Action Team – Hornsby and Lower North Shore; and NSW Government – Youth Week. Local youth services will also be running activities on the day.
