A blow-up Easter bunny holiday two green Easter eggs.

From eco workshops to bush adventures, Youth Week and library activities - there’s plenty happening these April school holidays.

Northside Produce Market

  • Free Easter Kids Treasure Hunt
    Sunday 4 April 8am to 11.30am 
    The annual Kids Easter Treasure Hunt is back for another year at Northside Produce Market. It’s free to take part and is a fun way for kids and their parents to learn from farmers and artisan food producers about the food we eat.

Bushcare adventures (family-friendly)

  • Spotlight Walk and Talk (ages 5+)
    Thursday 9 April, 5.30pm to 8.30pm
    A nighttime walk for kids and parents to observe native animals in their natural habitat.
  • Bird and Bug Hunt (ages 5+)
    Friday 10 April10.30am to 12pm
    Discover local birds and insects. BYO binoculars and magnifying glass.
  • Family Bushwalk (ages 5+)
    Tuesday 14 April, 10.30am to 12pm
    Use your senses of touch, sight and hearing to learn about your surroundings.
  • Family Kayak (ages 8+)
    Wednesday 15 April, 10.30am to 12pm
    Join Sydney by Kayak for a guided tour of Willoughby Bay.

Live Music 

  • Sunset Series- Time to Dance! 
    Sunday 11 April, 3pm to 6pm 
    The Hot Potato Band will excite audiences with their unique high-energy performance, featuring all your favourite brass beats from trumpets, saxophones, trombones and more. They’ll follow openers, the exciting and local, The Young Guns.  

Youth Week 2026

  • Youth Week Colour Fest 2026
    Saturday 18 April, 1pm to 5pm
    Don your whitest of white clothes and get multi-coloured. Join a fun obstacle course colour run with copious amounts of Holi colour powder and a DJ.
  • Flip Fashion Forever (ages 9–18)
    Friday 17 April, 10am to 3pm
    A hands-on sewing and upcycling workshop. 
  • Coal Loader Fashion Revolution Clothes Swap
    Saturday 18 April, 9.30am to 2pm
    The event invites the community to celebrate sustainable style through swapping, restyling and mending. The event will feature an inspiring talk and styling demonstration by sustainable fashion expert Nina Gbor.
  • Youth-Led Sewing Circle
    Saturday 18 April, 10am to 2pm
    A relaxed, drop-in youth-led creative space where anyone can sit, sew and make together.
