A strong Ireland squad has been confirmed ahead of the historic AFLW Australia v Ireland match at North Sydney Oval on Saturday 1 August 2026.
The 25-player team brings together some of the AFLW competition’s top talent, including All-Australian players, premiership winners and club leaders.
Irish players have played a key role in the AFLW’s growth, with many now competing across clubs in Australia and contributing to the league’s success.
The match, kicking off at 4.15pm, will be the first professional international game of Australian Rules football.
