These events are delivered as part of a coordinated statewide Library Open Day as part of Library and Information Week. The initiative brings together NSW public libraries to showcase their services, spaces, collections and community impact through a shared day of activity and storytelling.

From artworks to archaeology, clothing to cooking equipment, be taken behind-the-scenes of some of these stored artifacts to reveal the stories they can tell us about North Sydney and its community. A very clever new friend is coming to Stanton Library! Meet MetaCat, our lifelike robotic companion cat. Give them a pat, watch them purr, blink, meow and flick their tail about.
