Join us for a free opening weekend from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 August as we celebrate the return of this iconic harbourside landmark in its 90th year.
Whether you're a long-time pool user, a local family, a fitness enthusiast or simply curious to see inside, everyone is invited to experience the new facility and be part of this historic milestone.
The outdoor 50m, the indoor lap pool and the indoor program pool will be available for lap and leisure swimming. The spa, steam room and sauna are open for guests 16 years and older. For younger visitors, the children’s pool and splash pad will also be open.
The gym, group fitness studio, Reformer Pilates studio and crèche will be available to view as part of self-guided tours. Venue staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about these facilities, which will open for regular operation from Monday 10 August.
Entry is free all weekend and no bookings or tickets are required. Access will be available on a first come, first served basis. Once the facility reaches capacity, visitors may be asked to wait before entering.
To help as many people as possible enjoy the facility during opening weekend, visitors are encouraged to keep their visit to around one hour. Please check Council's website and social media channels for capacity updates and event information throughout the weekend.
Opening hours
Friday 7 August
Doors will open to the public at 2.30pm and close at 6.30pm.
Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August
Doors open at 10am and close at 7pm. Enjoy face painting and roving entertainment throughout the venue, with three raffle draws taking place during the day.
Please note the pools close 30 minutes before the facility.

Getting here
North Sydney Olympic Pool is located at 4 Alfred Street South, Milsons Point.
The facility is a short walk from Milsons Point Station and is also easily accessible by bus and ferry. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport where possible as the surrounding area is expected to be busy throughout opening weekend.

Memberships are now available for purchase. Pool staff will be available throughout opening weekend to answer questions about memberships, swimming lessons, fitness programs and facility bookings.
