North Sydney Oval is set to once again play host to the world's best cricketers this summer, with the Sydney Sixers confirming four Weber WBBL|12 home matches at the iconic venue throughout November.
A long-standing home of women's cricket in Sydney, North Sydney Oval has become synonymous with the Sydney Sixers and some of the competition's most memorable moments.
This season, fans can again look forward to elite sporting action, family-friendly entertainment and community celebrations at one of Australia's most picturesque sporting grounds.
The Sixers enter Weber WBBL|12 with an exciting mix of international talent and Australian stars, including Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner, Sophia Dunkley, and a host of emerging players eager to make their mark on the competition.
The season's home schedule begins with the return of the popular Summer Session on Sunday 8 November, when the Sixers take on cross-town rivals the Sydney Thunder in the latest instalment of the Sydney Smash.
The event, delivered in partnership with Matt Rule’s Good Time Sports Co., combines world-class cricket with live entertainment, local food and beverage offerings, and a festival atmosphere on the famous North Sydney Oval hill.
Last year's event attracted a record 5,023 fans, setting a new benchmark for regular-season WBBL attendance.
A week later, North Sydney Oval will host the Sixers' much-loved Community Round against the Melbourne Renegades on Sunday, November 15 from 11am AEDT.
Community Round celebrates the local cricket clubs, volunteers, players and families who help grow the game across Sydney.
Junior cricketers and community clubs will once again have the opportunity to connect with their heroes through special match-day experiences and activities.
Beyond the action on the field, the Sydney Sixers and North Sydney Oval continue to share a commitment to creating memorable experiences that bring the community together.
