North Sydney's parks, reserves and open spaces are some of our community's most valued places, bringing people together for recreation, sport, events and celebrations.
Booking a space is simple
Our new online booking system provides a simple and convenient way to check availability, apply for permits and manage bookings in one place. Organised groups and commercial operators can quickly find suitable spaces and receive approval before using them.
Fair access for everyone
The system helps balance the needs of organised activities with casual use, ensuring parks and reserves remain accessible and enjoyable for everyone. By managing bookings in one place, we can support fair access while helping protect these shared community spaces.
Free bookings until 1 January 2027
Bookings for activities that take place between 1 October and 31 December 2026 are free as part of Council's trial of the new booking system. Bookings for activities taking place after 1 January 2027, applicable fees and charges will apply. Feedback collected during the trial period will help us improve the system and user experience.
Need help?
During the introduction of the new booking system, a dedicated concierge service will be available to support users. A customer service officer will be out in North Sydney's parks and open spaces to answer questions, provide guidance and help people navigate the booking process.
