This project is located near the corner of Woolcott Street and Euroka Street at Waverton. A lot of residents and visitors walk past the patch as it leads to popular walking and sightseeing areas such as Waverton Park and Balls Head Reserve.
A group of volunteer residents in partnership with North Sydney Council have transformed the degraded space into an attractive local park. The plants are all endemic to the North Sydney area, with the aim of providing habitat for native birds and animals.
The group is always looking for more volunteers!
